Among the senior linguists addressing the participants at the and VI International Interdisciplinary Symposium of Young Scholars in the Humanities were legendary Academician, Professor Mzekala Shanidze (photo to the left upper row), born in 1926 as the daughter of the distinguished expert on Old and Modern Georgian, professor Akaki Shanidze..
