It was a memorable meeting with the Georgian emigré community at the Leuville Estate south of Paris and an honor to talk with representatives in exile of the First Democratic Republic of Georgia.

I visited Leuville together with colleagues at the Caucasian Colloquium that was held in Paris in 1988 and organized by the Societas Caucasologica Europaea.
